Jordan Mossom
For more than a decade, Jigsaw was a home from home for Jordan Mossom and his family. Jordan lived with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and before passing away he worked extremely hard to raise awareness of his condition which is characterized by muscle degeneration and weakness.

Blake Penny
Blake Penny’s favourite place to visit is Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice – with his mum saying she never sees him as happy as when he’s there being cared for.

Helen and Jack
Helen’s son Jack, 11, has a metabolic disorder called NKH, he uses a wheelchair, has seizures and is tube fed.

Adam’s story
Adam has been attending Jigsaw for more than 14 years and has a number of life-limiting conditions. The Jigsaw team has been hailed as a "lifeline" for Adam and his family who say they don't know where they'd be without their support.

Max Dickinson
Max has a genetic duplication called 5p13 duplication syndrome which was discovered after he started showing seizures when he was 11 months old, has been supported by the dedicated Jigsaw staff since he was around four years old.

Jacob Mortimer
Jacob Mortimer was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour when he was just six months old and sadly died a few months later. While his short life was filled with love and care, Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice was able to support Jacob and his family through the toughest of times.

Joe Alecock
Joe Alecock has been supported by Jigsaw for more than 16 years and his regular respite visits give him vital independence. He cannot speak highly enough of the care and support he's had from the hospice over many years.

Christine has volunteered in the family support team as a Bereavement Counsellor for around 6 years providing valuable support to families and children.
