We’re swapping running shoes for parachutes and taking the plunge—literally. At a jaw-dropping 15,000 feet, with speeds of up to 120mph, this tandem skydive is not just a leap of faith, it’s a bold dive for a vital cause.
You will arrive at Skydive Northwest, near Grange-Over-Sands for 8am, where you will receive a safety briefing about the flight. A trained instructor will be there with you the whole flight, deploying, flying and landing the parachute, leaving you to relax and take in breathing taking views of the Lake District.
Please note that the event is weather dependant, should the event not be able to take place on the given date, it will be rescheduled to the next available date.
There is a picnic area, café and toilets (including a disabled toilet) on the site, so bring your family and friends along to cheer and congratulate you on your amazing achievement, as you are helping your local hospice provide care with compassion for men and women throughout Cumbria at a time when they need it the most.
