‘Our Cumbria’ Photography Competition
Calling all amateur and professional photographers!
Do you have a photo that captures the magic of Cumbria? Whether it’s a breathtaking landscape, a quiet moment in nature, or a snapshot of everyday beauty, we’d love to see it. Your images could help support the vital work of Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw.
Entry is completely free, and the best submissions will be handpicked by our judging panel to feature in our Christmas items and 2027 calendars. These products raise essential funds for the hospice, helping us continue our care for local families.
While we’ve traditionally showcased Cumbria’s scenic landscapes, this year we’re inviting a broader interpretation of what makes our county beautiful. From wildlife and architecture to community life and personal moments — we welcome it all.
The competition will close on 1st May 2026 and the winners will be announced shortly afterwards.
The criteria for submission is that:
- The photo taken must have been taken in Cumbria within the last two years
- The photo must be a minimum size of 1mb/300 dpi
- You can only submit up to 6 photos
- To be considered for our calendar photos must be of landscape orientation, portrait photos can be accepted but will only be used on prints, cards, etc.
