- Monday, 03 December 2018
Staff at Sealy will be supporting Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice as they aim to raise enough money to Pay For a Day of Care at the local charity.
Over the coming year staff from the Aspatria based company will be taking part in a wide range of fundraising events as they raise £2,126.46 for Jigsaw. Every day the local charity needs to raise this amount from community donations to provide care, support and activities to children and young adults with life limiting illnesses.
Lynsey Millican from Sealy Charity Committee said “The Charity Committee at Sealy are looking forward to working with and raising money for such an amazing local cause. Our recent visit to Jigsaw has only reinforced our commitment to raise the money as soon as we possibly can.”
Natalie Bingham Corporate Relationship Co-ordinator at Jigsaw said; ‘’We’re delighted that Sealy have chosen to Pay For a Day for Jigsaw, Cumbria’s only Children’s Hospice. We know that Sealy already do lots of great work out in the community and we can’t wait to work alongside them and support them in their fundraising efforts.’’
Pay For a Day is a unique opportunity for every individual, family, company or organisation in Cumbria to make a real, immediate contribution to the care of the most vulnerable children in the county. Pay For a Day allows you to pay for the entire running costs of Jigsaw service – for a whole 24 hours. People can choose the day and choose how to raise the money.
