Club 24

Launched last year, Club 24 is an exclusive business initiative with over 30 businesses already on board. This impactful club gives your business the opportunity to fund 24 hours of vital, compassionate care for a local family when they need it most.

We are pleased to invite more businesses to join Club 24, helping to provide ongoing support for the patients and families we care for throughout the year.

We are extremely proud of the relationships we have with our corporate supporters, whether they are small, local businesses or large multi-national organisations, and we are always looking for new and exciting ways for them to get involved in supporting our work.

24 hours of care for one of our patients costs £877, can you help to fund that day for a local person who needs our round the clock care?

By joining Club 24 and pledging to donate £877 a year (£73.08 a month), you will cover 24 hours of vital care for one local patient.

Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice costs around £5 million a year to keep running with only around 20% coming from NHS grants. We rely on local businesses, groups and people to fund the 80% it takes to keep our doors open for families who need us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Annual Complimentary Meeting Room Use

Enjoy one free meeting room use per year, accommodating up to 60 people. (Room hire only; catering and additional services available at an extra cost.)

Personalised Supporter Plaque

Receive a locally crafted bamboo plaque featuring your business name, perfect for displaying in your office, counter, or reception area to showcase your support for the hospice’s business club.

Step 1. Sign yourself up

Complete our online form or email martha.pardoe@edenvalleyhospice.org to sign up your business to Club 24. By signing up to Club 24, you pledge to donate the cost of a patients 24 hour stay at the hospice which is (on average) £877. You can donate this amount monthly or annually by cash, cheque, card payment, direct debit or BACS.

Step 2. We will be in touch

Our relationship fundraiser Martha will be in touch with more information on how to make the most of Club 24. Make sure she has the best contact information for your business and please provide her with any other contacts who would be helpful e.g. marketing, finance.

Step 3. Spread the word

Share your support of the club on social media with the personalised graphic that Martha will send you.

Step 4. Take advantage of Club 24

Get involved with everything the club has to offer! Make use of all the perks of Club 24 like use of our brilliant meeting room, reading our newsletters or attending our networks to meet like-minded businesses.

Step 5. Your renewal

Martha will be in touch after a year to ask if you would like to continue your support by renewing your membership to Club 24. We hope you continue to support the hospice in this way.

The wedding was the first time our whole family was together in the same room, with some of our closest friends and the hospice’s family support team. The girls were able to look around them and believe me when I told them, ‘It’s going to be OK’.
