Jerry, originally from Shropshire, began his career as an apprentice-trained toolmaker before moving into engineering management within the food industry. Over the next 25 years, he worked for a multinational company, gaining extensive experience in engineering, operations and safety. After relocating with work to Carlisle in 2000, he joined the hospice team in 2021. Jerry plays an integral role at the hospice by creating a safe and welcoming environment for patients, families, and staff. He says it’s a privilege to play a part in making a real difference where it matters most. He feels fortunate to work alongside a supportive, dedicated, and caring team who make every day rewarding.
