Do you love the thrill of wild swimming? Or have you seen the new phenomenon taking the internet and want to give it a go yourself? Dive into nature and join us at the UK’s BIGGEST open water swimming event at the beautiful lake Windemere. Swimmers of all abilities are invited to join us at The Great North Swim for the 1-mile challenge between 13th-15th June.
The 1-mile swim is equivalent to 64 lengths in a 25m pool, and you must be over 16 to participate. So, whether you choose a leisurely breaststroke while taking in the scenery or kick into crawl for a faster time, you can enjoy the camaraderie of fellow participants and the thrill of swimming in open water whilst having the pride of supporting a local meaningful cause.
