In December, hundreds of runners put on their Santa suits and dashed through the streets of Carlisle for our annual Santa Dash, spreading festive cheer while raising vital funds for Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice.
Thanks to the incredible support from those involved in organising the event, to everyone who supported on the day, and of course our brilliant sponsors who helped make it extra special. You’ve raised a fantastic £6510 for Jigsaw, which will bring comfort and joy to families.
To put this into perspective, £6,510 is the equivalent of 240 hours of specialist nurse care. That is an incredible achievement and also a powerful reminder of just how much ongoing support the hospice needs each and every year.
Even more impressively, over the past 10 years the Santa Dash has raised a staggering £72,319! A fantastic achievement — well done to everyone involved, past and present!
