Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw are a local charity dedicated to providing the best standard of care to adults and children with life-limiting illness, along with their families, friends and carers.
We are currently recruiting for a Ward Clerk/Administrator who will provide a high standard of administration support across our clinical and non-clinical areas of the hospice. The role will be varied and will include acting as the first point of contact for visitors, relatives and carers, producing and sending medical correspondence, maintaining EMIS (patient record system) and minuting meetings.
The right individual will have excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to multitask and work calmly and methodically under pressure. Strong IT and communication skills are also essential.
Experience of working in a healthcare environment would be beneficial, although this is not essential.
