Shop Supervisor

Join our friendly, purpose-driven Trading Team and support our hospice shops and online platforms. This is your chance to turn your retail skills into something incredible – helping local families when they need it most.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working within our shops, boosting shop income with stock control, merchandising and great customer service
  • Recruiting, training and supporting our amazing volunteers
  • Helping launch pop-up shops and expanding our e-commerce
  • Helping to manage rotas, shop van collections and volunteer drivers
  • Coordinating Gift Aid & supporting income reporting
  • Delivering a fantastic customer experience every day

What we’re looking for:

  • 1+ year retail experience
  • Confident, organised & a great communicator
  • Friendly team leader with a heart for helping others
  • Skilled in multitasking & admin
  • Positive attitude & full of fresh ideas

Bonus if you have:

  • Retail Gift Aid / online sales knowledge
  • Experience with budgets or shop management

Location: Carlisle and Penrith

Hours: 22.5 per week (worked 3 days across our 7-day trading operation)

Pay: £14,957.66 (FTE £24,929.44), hourly rate of £12.75

Department: Trading

Reports to: Retail Operations and Development Manager
