Administrative Assistant

Looking for a role where your work truly makes a difference?

At Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice, every donation, every fundraiser and every supporter helps us provide specialist care and support to local people and families when they need it most. Due to the relocation of the current postholder we’re looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Income Generation and Marketing team and play a vital role in helping this happen.

This is more than an admin role. You’ll be at the heart of our fundraising team, supporting our supporters, processing donations, maintaining accurate records, coordinating fundraising materials and helping to ensure everyone who supports the hospice receives an outstanding experience.

We’re looking for someone who is:

  •  Organised, efficient and has excellent attention to detail
  • Compassionate, caring and sensitive to others
  • Self-motivated, proactive and keen to make a difference
  • A great communicator who enjoys helping people
  • A team player with strong customer service or administrative experience

You don’t need previous fundraising experience. This role could be perfect for someone with a background in administration, customer service, office support or a similar role who wants to use their skills for a meaningful cause. Our team is supportive, welcoming and passionate about making a positive impact across our local community.

Join us and be part of something special. Together, we help create moments of care, comfort and compassion for families across Cumbria.
