When are your shops open?
- Our Furniture Shop is open from 10.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday.
- Our Penrith Shop is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm. With opening hours of Tuesday to Saturday.
- Our Lanes Bookshop is open Tuesday to Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm, and Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
- Our Lonsdale Street Shop is open from 10.00am to 4.00pm. With opening hours of Monday to Saturday.
Do you allow drop offs at your shops?
Yes, you may now drop items off at our shops.
However, this is dependant on the item, please make sure to call the shop you are looking to donate too beforehand to check the eligibility of your item and whether or not it can be dropped off.
Are there any items you do not accept?
There unfortunatley are some items we are unable to accept click here to view them in full.
Can I donate my furniture items?
We ask that you always ring the retail team on 01228 817615 to check whether or not we can accept your donation.
All furniture donations must still have there fire labels attached, be in a good condition and from a smoke free home.
Are you taking collections?
Yes, we are currently taking collections. You can call our retail team on 01228 817615 to check the eligibility of your items and book a collection slot.
Our collection slots are extremley busy with limited availabilty, Please be aware that slots may be booked up and you may have to wait a few weeks for you items to be collected, we appologise for any inconvenience caused by this.
Can I sign up for retail gift aid?
Whether you are donating a sofa, an item of clothing or a book, as long as you are a UK Taxpayer you can sign up for Retail Gift Aid. To find out more click here.
Am I able to book a house clearance?
Yes of course, to book a house clearance please complete the House Clearance Request form here or contact the Eden Valley Hospice Furniture Shop on 01228 549473.
