Do you want to use your skills and experience to make a real difference to the care and support offered to people in our community?
Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice, is a registered charity providing specialist palliative care for adults, young people and children across Cumbria. We’d really love our Board of Trustees to reflect the diversity of the communities that we support, and therefore wish to attract people from a broad range of backgrounds and with a variety of skills and experience.
Perhaps you have a clinical background, or maybe a member of your family received care from our team. Of most importance, you have a passion for the Hospice and a desire to play a role in guiding the provision of palliative care services.
The Board meets four times per year and is responsible for the overall governance and strategic development of the Hospice. As well as attending Board meetings, Trustees meet to discuss areas such as retail, staffing, clinical and finance.
Informal discussions can be arranged with the Chief Executive and Chair of the Board, before the selection process, by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
Closing date: 10am, Monday 15 April 2019
