An exciting opportunity has become available to join our retail team as a Shop Supervisor. You’ll be a key member of our Retail Team who contribute to raising the £3.2 million needed each year to keep our vital services running.
This is a hands-on role where, with the support of the Shop Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to run your own shop, using your creativity to deliver an outstanding offer and service to our supporters. No two days are the same, from working on the shop floor to co-ordinating activity behind the scenes, meaning the ability to manage a number of tasks is essential. You will be required to support our retail shops across Carlisle as and when required.
You will support Shop Managers to lead a dedicated team of volunteers to deliver great customer service, create an exciting shopping experience and maximise income.
This is a unique opportunity and experience within a retail supervisory role is desirable, but not essential as training and development will be available. A willingness to learn new skills is vital. Experience of working in retail (commercial or charity) and an understanding of financial targets would be preferable.

In addition, all our shops across Carlisle and Penrith close at 4pm the majority of the year, giving you more time to enjoy your evenings.
