Lottery Manager

Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice are a local charity dedicated to providing the best standard of care to adults and children with life-limiting illness, along with their families, friends and carers.

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail focussed individual to join our team as Lottery Manager to continue to develop and drive our lottery forward.  You’ll be responsible for, and lead on, our lottery development and compliance, as well as providing an excellent supporter experience to those who take part in our weekly draw and seasonal raffles.  You’ll be part of a small team but one that has real impact.

Though of course welcome, there is no requirement to have a background in fundraising to be able to excel in this role.  You may have a strong background in either compliance, finance or administration for example.  We value the expertise you will bring and encourage applicants who feel they have the necessary transferable skills and are passionate in their support for local families, a full training programme will be provided.

We’re proud of our lottery and the contribution it makes towards the vital care provided at the hospice.  As Lottery Manager you’ll have the opportunity to develop it even further and explore the still untapped opportunities we know are available to us.

Our teams have a sense of pride working for Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw. We are specialists in what we do, and we are respected and valued by our community.

As a small organisation it means we work closely across teams here and ideas for improvement can be adopted and trialled quickly. Our leadership team is visible and approachable, and you will have the chance to influence the work of the hospice.

Our staff survey reflects an employer which values people and a place where their development is encouraged.

We offer some excellent benefits including:

–           Free on-site parking

–           Excellent development opportunities

–           Discounted gym membership

–           Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
